Alani Nu Energy drinks are a trendy, fun-filled drink that provides people with 200 mgs of caffeine.
The brand has had flavors come back seasonally, but as of May 2026 there are 14 flavors of Alani available.
These drinks are extremely popular with some flavors doing better in business than others. Flavors seem very opinion based and customers seem biased to different flavors of which taste better to them.
For instance, one flavor that can be a “hit or miss” to buyers is the Cherry Slush Alani. Some people think that it tastes like cough syrup, and others think it tastes like a delicious cherry drink.
My favorite flavors of the Alani energy drink are Cotton Candy, Strawberry Sunrise, Pink Slush, Hawaiian Shaved Ice, Dream Float, Cherry Slush and Blue Slush.
A common theme with my favorites is the overall sweetness level of the flavor. Cotton Candy and all three of the “slush” flavors are, in my opinion, the sweetest flavors. The drinks contain 0 gs of sugar, so drinking these flavors is like having a sweet treat without the sugar.

When I first tried the Cotton Candy and Strawberry Sunrise Alanis, they were only limited edition. Due to their overwhelming popularity, they were made permanent flavors of the Alani brand in early 2026.
Another change was made in the Alani industry in early 2026 as well as late 2024. This changes some of the tastes of their flavors by tweaking the formulas around to give different flavor effects.
A flavor change made in 2026 was to adjust the caramel flavor to the limited edition Halloween flavor, Witches Brew. Alani aimed to make the drink “less caramel-forward.”
This is also true for other flavors such as Cherry Slush, which was also given a profile adjustment.
My least favorite flavors of the alani energy drinks are Sherbet Swirl, Juicy Peach, Breeze Berry, Orange Kiss, Cosmic Stardust, Cherry Twist and Watermelon Wave.
The main reason why these are not my favorites is because of the flavor choices. Cosmic Stardust is a grape-flavored drink and since I do not care for grape, Cosmic Stardust is not at the top of my list. The same goes for Orange Kiss, which as the name suggests, is orange-flavored.
Alani has been known to release multiple similar-tasting cherry flavors, with slight variations. So far, the cherry-flavored drinks that have been released are Cherry Slush, Cherry Twist and Cherry Bomb which was a limited edition Valentine’s flavor that debuted in February 2026.
Cherry Slush is known for being the iconic original, sweet cherry flavor that is intended to taste like an actual cherry slushy. Another flavor, Cherry Twist, is supposed to be a tangy, more cherry forward flavor. Cherry Bomb, on the other hand, is known for tasting like a cherry cola but also wrapping some originality into the flavor.
In conclusion, Alani Nu Energy drinks are booming with success from people of all ages and successfully providing the perfect energy boost to start one’s day.
There certainly is a flavor of Alani out there for everyone, especially given that there are 14 different delicious flavors to choose from. Which Alani is your favorite?
