Lancer Media Podcast: Michael Clark-Borenstein helps teens cope with mental illness
November 29, 2022
In this podcast, Editors Emily Rice and Kiefer Ely talk to Michael Clark-Borenstein about his mental health counseling practice.
His practice, Bright View Counseling, is located in Charlotte, North Carolina (NC). It specializes in anxiety, depression, addictions, autism, ADHD, ODD, life stressors and behavioral modifications for clients of all ages.
Bright View Counseling has won Best of the Best Charlotte awards in both 2021 and 2022. This award is only given to businesses and establishments that exhibit exemplary service towards the Charlotte community.
Clark-Borenstein founded Bright View Counseling in 2020 in his journey to help others who are struggling. His mission was to bring a better counseling experience to Charlotte, NC and surrounding areas.
At their practice, the goal is to destigmatize the view of “traditional” therapy.
One of the founding visions was having a happy and lighthearted option for clients to turn to. Clark-Borenstein uses this opportunity to bring his dog, Charlotte, to help comfort clients and make them feel safer when coming into the office.
Clark-Borenstein is not the only therapist associated with Bright View Counseling. His other team members Austin Nedved, Ciera Hopkins and Carlee Wetzler all share the same vision of helping others within their practice.
Making an appointment at Bright View Counseling is easy and stress-free. The design is sleek and has an effortless user interface.
For client convenience, they also have an online option with free resources for anyone to use. The team at Bright View Counseling encourages all people to take a look at their website and find a resource that will benefit them.
Each team member has a short bio about themselves listed on their profiles. This ensures that the clients can get to know their potential therapist before they make their decision on if they will be coming into the office.
Therapy and mental health counseling have the ability to benefit everyone. This is particularly true for many who struggled, or continue to struggle, through the global pandemic.
