Class of 2018: Seniors celebrate ONE last day as Lancers

by Kelsey Ward, Editor

Tuesday, May 22, 2018 is the last school day for the class of 2018.

Seniors celebrated the end of the school year at the annual senior picnic on May 17, in the cafeteria. They ate lunch, sponsored by the PTSA and Sports Boosters, and received their yearbooks.

It has been a good year for the Class of 2018: Including five state championship wins, two great theater performances, and a brand new look for The Lance.

Lancers are going all across the country to further their education: as close as Hood College to as far away as Florida State University.

Jack Dubro was the Student Government Association (SGA) president this past year. He will be attending Clemson University in the fall. “My time at Linganore was legendary! Enjoy your time here because it will be over before you know it,” said DuBro.

The seniors will have two practices before they graduate on May 30 at Knott Arena at Mount St. Mary’s University.
