Thursday’s pep rally on October 15 was filled with splits, flips, and spirit sticks.

The morning was started with introduction of our grades and a spirited singing of the National Anthem.

There were performances by JV Cheer, followed by the Varsity Cheer team. After cheer, the Pom and Dance team took the floor. Color Guard wrapped up the performances.

Next, the homecoming court was recognized.

The freshman prince and princess are Nathan and Morgan Kiebman.

Breyden Blakely and Adriana D’Amore represent the sophomore class as prince and princess.

The junior class’s prince and princess are Garrett Weihler and Taylor Thomas.

The senior homecoming court was announced, as well. The king and queen will be announced during the homecoming football game against Wooten on Friday, October 16.

The candidates include:

Neesa Conlon and Matt Demember

Olivia DuBro and JD Ensor

Maria Pellicier and Noah Garabedian

Taylor Stone and Daniel Murphy

Cassie Wheeles and Matthew Watson

After broadcasting the court, representatives of each class played a game entitled “Musical Balls.” Modeled after musical chairs, students were blindfolded and danced in front of their peers. When the music was paused, the students got on all fours and blindly searched for large athletic balls.

Following the game, the winners of the week-long spirit competition were announced.

The Class of 2019 received fourth place.

Third place was awarded to the Class of 2019.

The first runner- up was the Class of 2018.

Class of 2016 took the win and earned the Spirit Stick.
