NJROTC cadets become National Guard members for the day
In February the NJROTC cadets traveled to the National Guard armory outside of downtown Frederick. While visiting, they experienced wearing tactical gear, simulated being lifted by a helicopter, and tried flipping and transporting a boat. They also got the chance to see and hold (unloaded) military grade weaponry. This gave the cadets a chance to see, first hand, the mission and skills of the National Guardsmen.
