Leila Gibril, Editor: (@leilagibril1) is a member class of 2024. Leila enjoys creating writing and journalism. She would say her favorite class is Journalism itself. She also enjoys history class and loves her honors government class.
She likes to read and write small short stories in her free time and likes to watch the news to keep up with the world. After high school she is pining after her dream school, Howard University. She hopes to major in journalism and make it her main priority.
Her favorite Netflix shows are, Anne with an E, OBX, The disastrous life of Saiki K and Atypical. She hopes to be a Media journalist when she gets older. She wants to stand on the red carpet and interview people she has looked up to as a kid.
She is looking forward to meeting the new students in her journalism class and especially being her new leadership roll she is taking on. Very nerve wracking but very exciting. She hopes to be just as good as her old mentor. She will lend a helping hand to any new j1’s or j2’s!.
When she completely done with school she hopes to travel the world, one continent at a time. France is constantly calling her name to visit. She expects inspiration for her first book from the gorgeous landscape that is Paris. She is planning on writing a few books in her future.
