#NationalSigningDay2021: Madyson Hill scores a goal at McDaniel College

February 9, 2021

On February 3, Madyson Hill signed her National Letter of Intent to play Division III soccer at McDaniel College in Westminster, Maryland. Alongside Hill, teammates Samantha Hoefs, Bailey Bennet, and Elizabeth Rajnik signed for soccer as well.

Hill has played soccer since the age of six.

Parents, Allen and Briony Hill are ecstatic about their daughter’s accomplishments.

“We have learned that hard work pays off and determination is not giving up,” said Hill’s parents.

Hill plays forward and wing on her team. Winning the golden boot award her sophomore year and scoring 12 goals this season, Hill is a star player.

“Determined. If I had to describe Madyson in one word it would be exactly that. She just gives everything she has every single time. She has worked so hard to get to the level she’s at and she continues to inspire me every practice,” said coach Rob Kurtz.

Hill still demonstrates hard work and dedication in this difficult environment.

“For next year, I expect my schedule to be very busy and tiring, but my hard work will pay off and be shown on the field,” said Hill.

Hill is not only excited to become a Green Terror student-athlete but she also has high hopes for her education.

“In college, I plan to study Early Childhood Education and minor in Sports Coaching,” said Hill.

After her enrollment in her high school Child Development courses, Hill knows that she has “found the passion to teach the next generation.”

“By minoring in sports coaching, I plan to be a soccer coach and spread my knowledge of the game”

Mother, Briony Hill is confident that her daughter will achieve all her dreams and more. “Madyson will give it all on the field and in life. She is an energizing bunny who I know will not stop until she succeeds. She is kind and has a big heart, she will make a great teacher that any child will be lucky to have. I know that Madyson will make all her dreams come true!”

The Hill Family at the National Signing Day.

The talent for soccer runs in the family as Madyson’s sister and teammate Mandy Hill watches her older sister move onto the next level.

“Madyson is a hardworking player who never gives up. She pushes herself, the pace of practice, and winning the games. She’s scored many goals to help us win so many games. She has motivated not only me, but the team to be positive and keep our heads up high. In the end, Madyson makes practices better,” said Mandy Hill.

Madyson Hill will continue to kick until she meets all her goals. Congratulations on your 2021 Signing Day!
