Tribe members and student section yellowed out for the fight against childhood cancer.

At the fourth game of the year, the Tribe continued the tradition of choosing a color scheme that the student section as well as parents wear.

In the fight against childhood cancer and in honor of Lily Weaver, a student at Linganore that currently has cancer. The students made a sea of yellow in the stands.  Some students from, the opposing school, Thomas Johnson High School, also wore yellow ribbons in support of Lily and all childhood cancer survivors

 At the game Grace Weaver. graduate of the Class of 2017 and Lily’s sister, said, “It was amazing to see the community come together to support my sister. It really shows how we are ‘one tribe and one family.'”

The final score of the game was 41-0. This makes  Linganore 4-0 in the season. The game started with a rough start for the team considering they had a scoreless first quarter. Going into the second quarter, the Lancers came out with more intensity and started putting points on the board.

The next game will be September 28 on Thursday night against Walkersville at home.
