Lancers prepare for spring tryouts: Photo of the Day 3/1/16
The varsity girls lacrosse team joins hands while pledging to the flag last season.
Tryouts for girls and boys lacrosse, as well as baseball and softball, will be held after school on March 1st. Lacrosse and softball will continue into the 2nd as well. Coaches may opt for a third day of tryouts as needed.
Lacrosse tryouts for boys start at 3:30 – 6:30 p.m. on the turf. Girls lacrosse tryouts start at 6:30 and end at 8:30 on the turf.
Baseball tryouts are 4:00 – 5:30 p.m. Softball tryouts are 2:30 – 4:00 p.m. both Tuesday and Thursday.
Both the lacrosse and baseball teams have been in conditioning for a few weeks. True AP gives the lacrosse, baseball and softball teams a chance to start running and to get into shape.
A returning girls lacrosse player, Adriana D’amore says, “I’m excited to start the season and see everyone!”
In the 2014-2015 season, our boys JV lacrosse team went undefeated for the second year in a row. The varsity team went 9-4 in their 2014-2015 season.
We are anticipating great seasons in all sports coming up. Come support our Lancers at the games when the season starts.
