The Linganore Girls Varsity Volleyball team took on Gov. Thomas Johnson High School Thursday, September 24 and won all three sets to take home a 3-0 win.

“We pulled together as a team and we played a really great game,” says Junior Melanie Raible. “We played at a high level.”

“I think this year we are all working together as a team,” said Senior Sarah Zetts. “We are all focused on accomplishing our goals this season.”

The Lancers improved to 5-1 on the season and continue to impress on the court with their teamwork and coordination.

The team recently had a dominant showing at the 2015 Invitational Tournament in which they brought home 1st place with a 7-1 record over teams including Chambersburg and Oakdale.
