On Wednesday, October 7 Frederick Community College held their annual college fair for junior and seniors.  Representative from over 100 colleges and universities across the U.S attended.

Students were able to talk to the representatives from each school about questions they had. They were also able to talk to representatives from Frederick County Community College about how to apply and about the programs they offer.

Student Services Renata Emery, school counselor said, “Admissions counselors can bring the college and its programs alive in a way you just can’t get by reading about them. Attending college fairs can help students narrow down which colleges they want to visit and eventually apply to.”

Representatives  are there  to see if students have any question about their schools, tuition costs, majors, and campus life. They also give  information packets on the school that include statics, tuition cost for in-state and out-of-state students, scholarship breakdowns, and a list of majors.

Junior Kayley Russell said, “I thought the college fair was very interesting. I’m glad I went and learned more about local colleges.”
