Juniors Melanie Raible and Jeweliana Hendrickson take shots of fans, umbrellas and Chinese lanterns on Main Street for their opening portfolios in Digital Photography II.

Mrs. Tracey Ellis-Guss, photography teacher, collected these items during her summer vacation and challenged the experienced students to work with light and shadow.

“I’m interested in taking pictures. It’s a more advanced class than last year and touches on topics we’ve already discussed.  I might pursue photography as a hobby,” said Raible.
