So close to summer you can feel it, but… there’s still a final to take.

For the past few weeks teachers have been preparing their students for course CRES tests and exams with study guides, after school tutoring and homework.

“This week has been really stressful and I’m just worried about how I did on my Chemistry final,” said rising junior, Bree Cacioppo.

With only three school days left some students decide to cram right before the final, while others have been studying for weeks.

“I’m a big procrastinator when it comes to studying,” said rising junior, Jeweliana Hendrickson.

Finals either make or break a student’s GPA, causing excessive amounts of stress for students. A final does not always have to be stressful. Take a few of these tips below to relieve stress and tension before your final.

Finals Tips:

  • Review your notes daily
  • Stay after for tutoring
  • Prioritize your finals
  • Concentrate
  • Pace yourself
  • Read all directions thoroughly
  • Read all answers thoroughly
  • Eat a good breakfast the day of the final
  • Stay well-rested
  • Make it fun
