After school on Tuesday, January 3rd, the National Art Honor Society gathered to begin planning the 25th anniversary of the art show.

Every year, art classes are provided cut-outs of a certain shape and asked to fill it in with a drawing, computer graphic, or photograph/collage. The shapes are hung up in the gym while the art show is held. This year, to go along with the anniversary theme, the shape is a balloon.

The art show is going to be held on April 22nd – 24th and will showcase the artwork of students in all of Linganore’s art classes. There will be an art auction at the show to help raise money for the honor society’s scholarship fund on April 23rd. The induction ceremony will also be held that evening.
