Photo of the Day 9/30/14: Dougherty, Reibman work on drumline visuals
In the photo, senior, and drumline section leader, Patrick Dougherty demonstrates a potential visual with senior Ryan Reibman. Dougherty and Reibman are the two quint-tom players in the drumline.
In Mr. Lloyd’s first and second period classes, groups of students are working hard on their 2014 show, “Magical Mystery Tour.” One of these groups is the percussion, featuring the drumline and sideline ensemble.
The drumline marches on the field with the marching band and color guard. Like the band, they incorporate small visual elements, like a gesture or synchronized movement to make the ocular aspects of the show more interesting.
