Monday, March 3rd, an admissions representative from St. Mary’s College will be visiting. Any JUNIOR who is interested in learning more about St. Mary’s should see Ms. Riley in Student Services to sign up.

Congratulations to Josh Airey and Tyler Britton who were selected from Linganore’s Ice Hockey team to play in the Maryland Student Hockey League All Star Festival. The games were held this past Wednesday night in Laurel at the Ice Gardens.

Don’t forget to come out to the Annual LHS Talent Show for a night of exciting entertainment tonight at 6:00pm. Cost for admission is only $2 for students. There will be a fantastic raffle at the end of the night, and all proceeds from the event benefit the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society of Maryland.

Tonight is your last chance of the year to come out and see the Linganore Academic Team compete in the Frederick County Academic Tournament Championships. They finished the season ranked 4th of 10 teams in the county. They will face off against Walkersville and either TJ or Oakdale. The match is scheduled for 6 pm at Frederick High School. If Linganore’s team wins their match, they will move forward to the finals later that night against the winners of the two other matches. So come out and see what is sure to be an ultra-pressurized, high stakes no-holds-barred academic battle royale

In case you missed it yesterday, the winner of the Linganore FFA’s Kiss-the-Goat contest was deputy Calimer. Thank you to deputy Calimer, and to everyone who donated any money to help out.
