Lancer Kitchen goes Holiday Red and White: Candy Cane Bark
The peppermint bark is an easy and fun recipe to make. This is what it looks like.
What a wonderful candy that is fun to make as well as eat
Candy Cane bark
Yield: about a pound of bark
prep time: 30 mins
Cool time 1 hour
Ingredients:
2 lbs white chocolate
12 candy canes
½ teaspoon peppermint flavoring
Materials:
parchment paper
Directions:
- Melt white chocolate in the top of a double boiler. While chocolate is melting place candy canes in a plastic bag and crush into ¼ inch pieces.
- Stir chopped candy and peppermint flavoring into melting chocolate. Remove from heat and pour mixture into a 11 x 17 inch baking pan lined with parchment paper.
- Chill until firm, then break into pieces. Refrigerate until ready to serve.
