Girls varsity volleyball game took a loss of 2-0 to Chambersburg in their tournament on September 16.

According to player Grace Coccagna, the girls played well but needed to have a more cohesive presence on the court. Their current record is four wins, three losses and two ties.

According to MaxPreps, so far in the 2018 season,  the girls have 6.6 kills per set, a 0.018 hitting average, 24 total blocks, 14.1 digs per set, 56 serving aces, and 2.2 aces per set.

Coccagna said,  “Even though we had a big set back with one of our players getting hurt, it’s nice to see that our team can come together through challenges and continue playing with everything we have to offer.”  Two players collided on the court while going for the ball.

Even though the Trojans won against the Lancers, the team won against Chambersburg, they still have a lot to celebrate.

The next game is away at North Hagerstown on September 20.
