With 14 days left, the technical theater seniors are closing the curtain one last time before they leave. These students have participated in all aspects of the show from lights to sound to set construction.

Martha Madrid has done everything behind the scenes from run crew, to wing head, to stage manager. She is going to be attending Marymount Manhattan in the fall, and plans to continue her tech career by majoring in stage management.

She said, “I just love theater. I can’t imagine myself doing anything else. People always say ‘Don’t do theater if you can be happy doing anything else’ and that made my decision pretty easy.”

“I’ve made a ton of really good friends, and obviously an undying love for theater that I didn’t have when I came here as a freshman.”

Katie Quirolgico, who has participated in run crew, booth, wing head, and now being shop manager, plans to go to Salisbury to study the engineering/producing business and make her own music.

The one thing she said she’d remember most from her experience at Linganore is, “Just hanging out with people and being around good people and good friends, I’m always going to remember that.” She added that she’s gained knowledge of how to deal with people and power tools from her time participating in tech.

Allison Eckloff plans to go to MICA to study photography and tech theater after taking a gap year.

Caitlin Butler will be attending FCC next year and is studying to be a nurse anesthetist.
