The once bustling Peacock Shopping Center in Mount Airy now stands vacant.
Mount Airy is thriving with business. There are boutiques, plenty of supermarkets, an abundance of restaurants and parks and other recreational activities for the entire family, but could there be more?
There are vacant storefronts scattered around Mount Airy. They are ghosts of what used to be flourishing businesses within the town. They aren’t exactly aesthetically pleasing, and something useful and beneficial could be put in their place.
