Poll: Lancers want to cancel two teacher work days to make up for snow

In Lancer Media’s recent poll, the students were asked “How should we make up the extra snow days?” The most popular choice was “Cancel teacher professional development days (Feb 18) and teacher work day (Mar 21)” with 28% of the responses.
The next most popular choice was “Apply to the state for a waiver” with 25%. 21% of responses stated “Extend the school year by two days”; 14% stated “Reduce spring break by two days”. “Extend the school day by ending at 2:30 each day” (6% of votes) and “Other” (5% of votes) finished off the poll.
