Linganore varsity girls’ basketball has unforgettable season
The Linganore varsity girls’ basketball team has dominated the county this year with a record of 17-3. The team’s performance has led them to win the Central Maryland Conference against Williamsport High School and score over 50 points in almost every game.
The team’s hardest challenges came against Oakdale and Urbana High Schools. In every game they played against these teams, the score was extremely close and the crowd was electric.
The girls played a wonderful season and will hopefully continue to dominate next year’s 2023-2024 season.
The girls head coach Rachael Easterday pushed them to practice everyday and learn new skills.
One of the star players, junior Meg Hummel, also had a huge impact on the team’s bonding skills and strived to always put everyone in a good mood.
