Mackenzie Berry (@kenzieberr) is a member of the Class of 2021, and is a second-year journalist. She is the Drum Major of the Marching Band, participates in the Symphonic Band, has been involved in County-level Performing Arts festivals, and serves as the Secretary of the Drama Club/International Thespian Society at LHS. She is also an active member of the GSA, as well as the NHS and NEHS.

Mackenzie also enjoys teaching private voice, piano, and flute lessons. She hopes to go to College as a Music Education major to further her education as a Musician and Music Educator, in hopes to one day become a Performing Arts teacher at the Secondary level.

Mackenzie became a member of Lancer Media because she wanted to become a better writer, and become fully immersed into the Lancer Community. She greatly enjoys covering all kinds of topics, particularly those of the Performing Arts, and Social Justice. She believes that Journalism has expanded her horizons as a writer, as well as a member of the Lancer Community.
