In 2023, a new club, the Student Filmmaking Club, opened its doors at Linganore High School (LHS). In three months, the club has recruited more than 20 members. Together, they learn the basics of the film industry by working on short film projects and more.
On December 10, the club gathered on the weekend to film their Christmas project, a movie titled “Home Alone: Burglar’s Revenge.” Filming was spearheaded by club co-president Nick Killway, who detailed the extensive process involved in the making of the film, and club advisor English teacher Damon Norko.
