The first college fair was held today during all lunch shifts, for all juniors and seniors to talk to the college representatives about post-high school opportunities.  This was the first time the Student Services tried the option of a fair during lunch.

Lauryn Lovewell and Mackenzie Domroe talked to the Towson University Representative, Melissa Stoker, a Towson alumni.

Lovewell questioned Stoker on about majors related to forensic science.

Stoker also explained that just by knowing a Towson graduate, Towson will waive the $45 application fee.

Stoker gave Lovewell and Domroe lots of helpful information about Towson and the application process.

All of the colleges had brochures and other literature similar to Towson’s:  logos, pamphlets and details about the application process.

There were 14 schools that attended the college fair today which were; Lincoln College of Technology- Columbia, Bridgewater College, Catawba College, Frederick Community College, St. Mary’s College of Maryland, Shepard University, Florid Atlantic University, Pennsylvania State University, Mont Alto, Stevenson University, Towson University, Wilson College, York College of Pennsylvania, Davis & Elkins College, and Elizabethtown College.
