Kayla Self, Reporter
Kayla Self (@kayself08) is a member of the Class of 2026. Outside of school, she likes to spend her time drawing, reading books and listening to music.
Kayla participates in several clubs at Linganore, these being Women in Stem (WISE), Hispanic Heritage Club and the Gender-Sexuality Alliance, which she is the president of.
She plans to go to Towson University to study mathematics and physics. She hopes to get a job in some kind of technical mathematics field in the future. Additionally, Kayla also participates in her other favorite activities, these include hanging out with her friends, digital and traditional art and playing and taking care of her baby sister.
By taking this class, she hopes to further develop her skills and become a better writer. She also wishes to be able to participate more in her school by doing something that is not a club.
