Garrett Wiehler is a member of the class of 2017 and is in his second year of journalism. He is interested in national and global politics. Garrett wants to work for the Central Intelligence Agency to help combat international organized crime. He is an Eagle Scout and participates in unified sports, theatre, and Model United Nations. In his free time he enjoys backpacking, camping, and writing. Garrett believes journalism is a necessary part of a global society and journalists have one of the most important jobs in the world- educating the public while holding politicians and leaders accountable for their actions.
