What makes your mother special? On the first Sunday in May, the international holiday Mother’s Day is celebrated in more than 50 countries.
In this video, Lancer Media interviewed local community members of people from elementary school to adults.
The origin of the holiday Mother’s Day stems from the United States. Ann Reeves Jarvis started Mothers Day. Following her mother’s death in 1905, she thought of a day dedicated to honoring the sacrifices her mother made for her children.
