Just over a year ago, teachers packed up their belongings and left the classrooms. The two week cancellation led to weeks, then months away from the school.

This introduced the world of virtual teaching. Although the focus has been on the emotional upheaval for students, teachers have adapted to a new, disconnected way of teaching. Google Meet’s and one-to-one office hours have allowed an altered way of teaching.

Now that the teachers have returned, where is their joy?
