Class of 2018: Girls lacrosse seniors are running down the clock with 17 days left

Seniors lax players are counting down the days.

The seven seniors on the varsity girls lacrosse team are still going strong throughout their last 17 days of school. The finish line is in sight for the girls as they have their last game of regular season against Manchester Valley High School, away, on May 1.

Each senior has a plan for their future.

Bridget Murphy will attend James Madison University with a major in Media Arts and Design and a concentration in journalism. Adriana D’amore will attend UMBC, furthering her lacrosse career and is undecided in her major.

Lily Eisenhart will also further her lacrosse career at Methodist University with a major in nursing and she then plans on getting a doctorate in physical therapy.

Hannah Lemen will attend Messiah College with a major in Spanish with a teaching certification k-12.

Madison Spitale and Anna Young plan on going to the University of South Carolina, Young majoring in biochemistry and molecular biology as well as minoring in neuroscience. Spitale will major in political science with a concentration in paralegal studies.

Shea Stewart will attend Virginia Tech in the fall with an architecture and design major.

The date and opponent of their first playoff game is yet to be announced.
