Class of 2018 Countdown: Horticulture seniors are busy with last plant sale

Malik Moss, Joey Lewis, Brandon Hemp, and Jade Taylor holding flowers representing 18 days left for seniors!

Seniors in horticulture are busy making getting ready for the plant’s sale throughout their last 18 days left.

Joey Lewis has been taking horticulture throughout all of high school. “My favorite part of this class is working with my friends,” said Lewis. He really enjoyed the class and would recommend it to anyone.

Brandon Hemp has been taking horticulture for 2 years. “I would definitely use the things I used in this class in the future,” Hemp said. He said he will probably take classes similar to horticulture in the future.  He plans to enroll in post-high school education and work this summer as a plumber’s helper in his father’s business.

Jordan Cencula has been taking horticulture for 2 years. Jordan said, “My favorite project was the wedding display.”

She said her favorite part about being in the class is sharing the experience with best friend Rachel.

“I will miss definitely miss this class, the people, the teacher,” said Cencula.
