Do you have any extra hats or mittens?
The main office has a tree where families can donate new hats, glove, mittens, socks, scarves, and more. The items will be to be donated local families in need.
The drive, in its sixth year, is run by Mrs. Dawn Aburto, special education assistant.
Aburto said, “I wanted to help children stay warm. The tree is a collection of “warmy” items including hats, gloves, scarves, socks, and slippers.”
The tree will be up until December 21, and the items are then donated to the children in the Linganore feeder pattern.
Please drop off items for donation in the main office.
Your donation will support the student journalists of Linganore High School. Your contribution will allow us to purchase camera/recording equipment and software. We hope to raise enough money to re-start a monthly printed issue of our paper.
