Oh, the places you’ll go: Ferris and Maggi rooming together to California University of Pennsylvania

Kassidy Ferris and Emerson Maggi are both attending California University of Pennsylvania and will be rooming together. Ferris will be majoring in psychology, studying to become a family therapist. Maggi will be majoring in forensic science, studying to become a crime scene investigator or a forensic science technician.

Ferris and Maggi have been friends since elementary school. They live in the same neighborhood, grew up together, and have gone to all of the same schools along the way, all the way up to their college choice.

Ferris is actively involved with FCA, Lancers Make it Happen, and her church. Maggi was a part of the LHS volleyball team and is in the National Art Honor Society.

Both girls are very excited to start their college education at Cal U.

“This school stood out to me because it is such a beautiful campus in a nice town. My grandparents also went to Cal U. I’m excited to gain some independence and freedom,” said Ferris.

“I’m most excited for the campus because it is in the middle of nowhere and is super pretty. It will also be nice to have more freedom that I haven’t had before,” said Maggi.

While having to be better at time management and not procrastinating is a foreseen issue, both are very excited to continue their education at a great college in a nice town, with a good friend to start this new experience.
