Next year, LHS will be offering a Unified Physical Education class. This class will mirror the Unified Sports teams, but be included as part of the school day. If interested, please sign up for Unified PE for next year, when you receive your course registration sheets next week!

New Market Elementary School will be holding their Science Fair on Thursday, February 19th at 8:45-11:30 am and 12:30-3:15 p.m. New Market needs science students who are interested in judging projects.  If interested contact [email protected].

If you are in 9-11th grade and are interested in the United States Naval Academy summer STEM program, applications are being accepted now through April 15, 2015 . If you enjoy discovering new things, solving problems, and learning how things work this is the program for you! If applying be sure to use an email address that is checked often.

Juniors: The applications for the USAMRIID science internships at Ft. Detrick are due today in C103.  See Mr. Brown or Ms. Radil-Harris if you have questions.

Now for sports related news.

Tonight is YOUR winning Ice Hockey team’s senior night and final game of the regular season.  Senior night begins at 7:30 and the game begins at 8:30 at Skate Frederick.  Come out and cheer our seniors and our purple clad team to victory!

Make sure to come out tonight to Middletown to see the boys varsity basketball team tonight at 7. Good luck boys!
