Attention students planning to take an AP exam in May. The deadline for registering for an AP exam is February 20th .  Please be sure to turn in completed registration forms and payment to Ms. Smith in the front office. Requests and supporting documentation for students who require accommodations for the May 2015 AP Exams are due to the College Board by Feb. 20.  Please speak with Mr. Keller or Ms. Smith for any questions.

Congratulations to our varsity cheerleading team on winning the 2015 Frederick County Winter Cheerleading Competition. The Lancers will compete in the regional competition this Saturday, February 7, at Harford Community College in Bel Air, Maryland.  The competition begins at 10 a.m. and the LHS cheerleaders perform at 12:15 p.m.

Here is a list of our 7 Winners in the Northeast Region- At  Large Scholastics Art Awards. Linganore had the only winners in Frederick County. Congratulation to these outstanding artists who recieved honorable mention for their work: Elizabeth Arnold for her Photograph: Through a glass darkly.  Amanda Germann  for her Jewelry: Hand Forged Necklace, and Kalia Gordon for her Photograph: Pomagranite. Alexandra Hammersla for her Ceramic: Dotted Teapot and Wire Wrapped Cup. Jeweliana Hendrickson for her Silver Key Photograph:  Perks of Living on a Farm. And Elizabeth Peterson for her Silver Key painting: Fight Club. Congrats to these lancers.

Linganore Key Club will be selling Valentine Candy Grams next week throughout lunch shifts. They will be sold for one dollar.

Tomorrow the Pom and Dance team will travel to their first competition of the season at North Point High School. They will be performing 3 out of 6 of their routines. Best of luck ladies!

Congratulations to all those who competed in the regional indoor track meet last night. Congrats to Adam Biesser for becoming the regional champion in the 55 meter hurdles. This qualifies Biesser to run in the state championship meet. Also qualifying for the state meet was Bailey Tregonning in the high jump and the 1600 meter run. As well as Nate Smith who threw a new personal best.

Congrats to Ej Donahue, Grant Waxter, Mackenzie Mccall, and Maddie Ambush as they participated in national signing day. Here’s a video highlighting the event.
