Juniors and seniors, a representative from FCC will be visiting LHS today. If you have any questions about fcc registration see Mrs Riley in student services.

Did you know 50.1 million Americans struggle to put food on the table? The junior class is trying to collect 2000 cans to help the hungry. Bring your cans into your first period teacher ASAP. The class that collects the most cans will win a donut party!

Seniors will receive their pre-ordered yearbooks at the senior picnic this Friday, May 15th during 4th period. If you will not be at the picnic, you can pick up your yearbook from Mrs. Bozzonetti in room A206 after the 15th during 1st or 2nd period. If you did not order a yearbook, but would like to, extras may be purchased for $70 cash only at this time.

Drama Honor Society members, please have your thespian point sheets and Lazzie voting forms finished and turned in to Mr. Lazarus by this Friday, May 15th.

The Junior Class is having a fundraiser at both Jersey Mike’s locations in Mt. Airy and Frederick this Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 10am to 9pm. Make sure to bring a flyer or mention the fundraiser.

The Acting II and Advanced Acting Showcase will be presented this Friday the 15th in the theatre at 7:00pm.  The showcase is free; however, the Drama department asks that you bring a canned good to donate to the food bank.  Come and support our student actors and see what they have been working on for the last semester.

The National Art Honor Society  will be having a meeting on Tuesday, May 19th after school from 2:30- 3:00pm  in A211 for all interested students who would like to join for next year.  If you are unable to attend please see Ms. Geisser for more information.

The final AP Macro review session will be held today in room A227 from 215 to 3pm.

The Harry Potter Alliance is hosting a Quidditch tournament after school, next Thursday, May 21st, to benefit a local animal shelter. Your team of seven can sign up in the library, there is a fee of $15 per team.

Anyone interested in going on a trip to Germany during the summer of 2016 should see Ms. Freimuth in C225.

Come out and support varsity softball as they take on Urbana here at home today in the next round of playoffs at 5pm. Good luck ladies!

Also, good luck to the girls and boys track team as they compete in the regional championship meet at Urbana today and tomorrow. Students will be let out of class at 1:15pm for a bus departure at 1:30.
