Attention Mrs. Bozzonetti’s Digital Photo or Computer Graphic’s students from first semester, if you had any artwork in the art show, please stop by room A206 either before or after school to pick it up!

The 8th Congressional District Art Show  juried 5 Linganore students into the show.  There were 250 entrants total. Congratulations to Alexis Jarvis, Katie Lamb, Leigh Rankin, Natalie Schiazzi, and Mariah Wilson.

Mr. Hines will be adding an additional AP US review session both before and after school this Thursday, April 30th.  The remaining review sessions will be today, Thursday the 30th, Tuesday May 5th, and Thursday May 7th.  If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to contact Mr. Hines.

Senior NHS members, don’t forget to order your graduation stole! Orders are due to Mr. Lake in C124 by Friday, May 1st! Be sure to include the order form with your payment.

Congratulations to the following students for competing in 25th Frederick County Envirothon Competition.  Michelle Weddle, Sara Combs, Ryan Stark, Abby Hilton, and Olivia DuBro. Great Job Lancers!

Today there will be a fundraiser at Rita’s of Mount Airy. From 5 P.M.-10 P.M. 20% of proceeds will be donated to Linganore Boosters.

Come to the Roy Rogers off of route 26 in Frederick on Wednesday, May 6th from 4-7 P.M.. 25% of all proceeds go towards the “Lancers make it happen” fundraiser to help benefit Linganore’s feeder schools.

Space is still available for participating in Summer League field hockey. Anyone who is interested please see Ms. Dillon in room B123 or Ms. Roberts in room B205 by April 29th. Registration forms are due back on April 30th if you want to be on the Linganore team.

Congratulations goes out to the Lancer Unified Track and Field team as they finished third in the county Unified Track and Field meet held on Monday at Governor Thomas Johnson High School. The team scored many personal bests and conducted themselves as great ambassadors for Linganore. way to Go Lancers!

Girls Varsity Lacrosse won against Francis Scott Key 16-9. And Girls JV Lacrosse won 11-6 against Francis Scott Key also. Great job ladies.

Boys Varsity Lacrosse won 16-5 against Winter Mills. And the Boys JV Lacrosse won 20-5.

The JV Baseball team took a hard hit against Middletown with a score of 11-1. Better luck next time Lancers.
