The LHS Latin club is helping Frederick’s Advocates for Homeless Families during the month of September. Third period classes are invited to collect needed items from September 15^th through September 25^th.  The class with the most donations will win a donut party, compliments of Latin club! Your teacher has a list of the items we are collecting.

Attention actors and singers:  Audition sign-up sheets for this fall’s play “Elephant & Piggie, We Are In A Play!” are posted outside of the drama room D101.  This show was written by the award winning Mo Willems for the Kennedy Center in 2013 and Linganore Drama is the first high school in the country to produce it.  Auditions are tomorrow, September 16^th.  See Mr. Lazarus with any questions.

For those applying to Rho Kappa, the deadline to turn in your application is today.

Attention Model UN ambassadors:  Please remember to confirm with Mr. Roberts that you will be participating this year and that you will attend the orientation on September 19^th.  There is a meeting tomorrow, Wednesday, September 16^th from 2:30 pm until 3:00 pm to organize for orientation.

Our Lancer field hockey team has a game today against South Carroll at home.  JV begins at 5:30 pm and varsity will begin at 7 pm. Good luck ladies!
