Attention juniors and seniors, a representative from FCC will be visiting LHS next Wednesday, May 13th.  If you would like to learn more about the admissions process at FCC, please see Ms. Riley in Student Services.

Congratulations to Mr. Miller for winning the 2015 Charles E Tressler Distinguished Teacher Award yesterday! This award recognizes an FCPS teacher who has had a significant impact on young people over their career.

Lancers Make It Happen is having a fundraiser tomorrow from 4 to 7 at the Roy Rogers on Route 26.

Last Sunday Allison Eckloff, Erin Formulak, Emily Jones and Matt Nam were honored in a reception at the Steiner House for their wins at the Regional and State Levels of the Women’s Civic Club Art Competition.

Softball will be hosting its 2nd annual Playoff Bracket Bash at Buffalo Wild Wings in Frederick tonight from 6-9.  Flyers will be available at the main softball table in the dining area at Buffalo Wild Wings. Please present your flyer to the server when paying the bill to help raise funds for our softball program.

The Class of 2016 has begun its can-struction food drive! Please donate canned food to help the class reach its goal of 2,000 cans so they can build a sculpture of the Maryland Flag. You can donate by turning in your cans in the front office. If you have any questions, see Matt DeMember or Noah Ismael.

Girls JV lacrosse defeated Urbana yesterday with a score of 9-8, great job ladies!

Varsity Baseball fought a tough game yesterday against Winters Mill but lost 7-6, better luck next time lancers.

Varsity Softball crushed Winters Mill yesterday with a score of 14-1, Great job lancers.
