The James Miltenberger Jazz Group will be performing at Linganore High School this Wednesday, May 20 at 7:30 pm.  They are performing two concerts in the U.S. before their concert tour of Belgium, Holland, and Germany this summer.  The group includes Linganore music teacher Kevin Lloyd on drums.  Tickets are $10 at the box office, but you can contact Mr. Lloyd about $5 tickets for students through Tuesday.

Tonight, our award-winning Vocal Ensemble and Concert Choir take the stage for their spring concert, which begins at 7:00 pm.  Come out for some terrific music.

SGA is having a fundraiser at California Tortilla in Mt Airy tomorrow, May 19th from 5-10pm. The money will go towards the Every 15 minutes event held last month so make sure to come out and support them.

Band members,the first rehearsal for Graduation Band, will be held tomorrow, May 19 from 2:45-4:30 pm. The first fall marching band rehearsal for musicians and color guard will be held on Thursday, May 21 from 5:30-8:00 pm. Senior band members should return any outstanding uniforms, school instruments, and method books as soon as possible.

Anyone interested in going on a trip to Germany during the summer of 2016 should see Ms. Freimuth in C225.

Congratulations to Linganore Tennis Players Andrea Huston and Courtney Shrider for qualifying to play in the Maryland State Tennis Tournament this coming Friday at College Park.
