Attention juniors and seniors, a representative from FCC will be visiting LHS this Wednesday, May 13th.  If you would like to learn more about the admissions process at FCC, please see Ms. Riley in Student Services.

Senior’s will receive their pre-ordered yearbooks during the Senior Picnic, this Friday, May 15th during 4th block in the stadium. Extra yearbooks will be available to purchase for $70 cash only at this time.

Underclassmen can pick up their pre-ordered yearbooks during all lunch shifts Friday May 22nd. Bring your receipt just in case. If you’re absent that day see Mrs. Bozzonetti in room A206 after the 22nd.

Did you know 50.1 million Americans struggle to put food on the table.The Class of 2016 has begun its can-struction food drive! Please donate canned food to help the class reach its goal of 2,000 cans so they can build a sculpture of the Maryland Flag.

Congratulations to Maggie Hall for her Digital Photo/Mixed Media Piece “The Eyes Have It” which was chosen for the “Making a Mark” show at the Youth Art Gallery at BWI Airport.  Her work will be on display from May through November.

The Harry Potter Alliance is hosting a Quidditch tournament after school, next Thursday, May 21st, to benefit a local animal shelter. Your team of seven can sign up in the library, there is a fee of $15 per team.

The final two AP Macro review sessions will be held today and Wednesday in room A227 from 215 to 3pm.

Varsity Baseball lost a tough fight against South Hagerstown in the first round of play offs. Great season boys!

Unfortunately our girls and boys varsity lacrosse teams lost against Howard last week.

Varsity softball plays against South Hagerstown today here at home. Come out and support them in their first playoff game.
