Who says math is boring? Not AP Calculus. Mrs. Jennifer Purgason’s AP Calculus class spent first period launching rockets. Using math, students had to create their own rocket design that they thought would give them the most altitude. The rockets were propelled by sodium bicarbonate (Alka Seltzer).
