Every year the Key Club (an international student-led organization that provides opportunities to develop leadership) holds a bowl-a-thon where other key club members from District 7a celebrate the end of the year.

“I had a lot of fun during the bowl-a-thon. I became friends with a lot of people,” says junior Dillon Mitcham, vice president of the Key Club.

Next year, “we plan on doing a lot more events to benefit the Eliminate Project,” said Mitcham.

The eliminate project is an organization that tries to eliminate maternal and neonatal tetanus, a disease that has killed nearly 60,000 babies. For more information on the eliminate project, click here.
