Shea Cencula

Shea Cencula will be attending Purdue University. She plans to major in Veterinary Nursing. Cencula is very involved and is a member of FFA and is on the varsity swim team. She has been named the champion Irish dancer. Cencula shows dairy cattle and shows, breeds, and owns goats. She has a small business producing soaps and lotions. H. She also works at Green Valley Animal Hospital.

What has been your favorite memory at Linganore?

“Making new friends.”

 What are you going to miss most after graduating? 

“The amazing experiences each class gave me.”

What is the most challenging task as a senior?

“Making sure I stay focused so that my grades don’t drop.”

What advice do you have for incoming freshmen?

“Don’t rush your high school moments. It will go by in the blink of an eye.”

Where do you imagine yourself 10 years from now?

“I imagine myself in 10 years still loving my career as a veterinary nurse.”

What was the most meaningful assignment a teacher ever had you do?

“Career exploration my freshman year in my Pre-Vet small class it helped me decide what I wanted to study in college.”

When you look back on this school in later years, what will you remember most?

“I will remember the people and all the fun times everyone had either at football games or at swim meets and FFA competitions.”
