On October 11, the Poms and Dance team seniors danced one of their last performances on the football field. During half-time, the Poms team danced a 2.5-minute routine.
The dance included many moves like ripples, Russians, a kick line and the spelling of 2020 at the end.
The 2020 seniors this year are Avé Boghossian-James, Lizzie Hall, Maddy Spisso, Angelique Fink, Alexis Murray, Ally Duda and Katie Johnson.
Before the game the seniors walked out to the 50 yard line one by one with their families and were recognized in front of the crowd. While they walked, the announcer described their individual accomplishments, future plans, and thanks.
Senior pom Co-Captain, Avé Boghossian-James said “Senior Night was a great experience for me because is have me a chance to feel recognized for my hard work at Linganore for the past 4 years.”

The junior pom girls made posters for each senior girl. These posters included pictures from their pom day, childhood and other out of school activities. The posters were displayed at the game.
They will perform at two more football games, Tuscarora on October 25 and Urbana November 1. Their competition season starts in February and ends in March.
