Students interested in law enforcement, fire and rescue services, and related careers are reminded about Career Night, tonight, at the Frederick County Law Enforcement Center. The event starts at 5:30. See the posters on Main Street for more details. 

A reminder to all applying for Mu Alpha Theta: applications are due no later than Friday to Mrs. Brunett or Mrs. Weiss. 

A representative from Shippensburg University will be at Linganore today during PREP. If you are interested in learning more about Shippensburg, sign up in Naviance or stop by Student Services. 

The Science National Honor Society will meet this Friday, September 27th during PREP in Room A139 (Mr. Sunkel’s). Membership requirements and community service opportunities will be reviewed. 

Linganore vs Oakdale Varsity Football tickets will be on sale in the cafeteria during all lunch shifts today! Students are $2.00 and adults $6.00. 

Don’t miss the chance to get your ticket for the 2019 Homecoming Dance. Tickets are on sale now. Deadline to purchase is Friday, September 27. Cost is $22 per ticket. See Mr. Brown on Main Street to buy your tickets today and tomorrow. 

Spirit week is NEXT WEEK!! Get ready to show your school pride and wear some wild outfits. Monday is an easy start- the very popular Pajama Day!! Roll out of bed and head to class, but remember those jammies must be school appropriate! 

Are you a senior? Are you interested in politics, current events, and state government? If so you should apply to be a student page at the Maryland General Assembly in Annapolis. Pages spend two non-consecutive weeks volunteering at the State House in the spring. If you would like more information or an application, see Mr. Brown in C101. 

Liz Barrett, member of the FCPS School Board and the LGBTQ community, will be the first speaker for this year’s series. She will present during PREP on Tuesday, October 1. Sign-up in the cafeteria.
