Bullying Prevention! Students, schools, and communities all over the world go BLUE together against bullying. Linganore wear BLUE on Mondays and make a stand against bullying. 

Attention French Honor Society members. Our first meeting is scheduled for today from 2:20 p.m. – 3:20 p.m. in Madame Blonder’s room. We will be sharing important information regarding this year’s calendar and requirements and completing a fun break out box event. Hope to see you all there! 

Members of the Science National Honor Society are reminded that this Saturday, October 5 an opportunity to earn community service will be available from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at the Audubon Sanctuary on Boyers Mill Road. See Mr. Sunkel in Room A139 if you have not signed up already. 

Students wishing to study during the Pep Rally on Friday must sign up in the Learning Commons by 2:15 p.m. today. Students will be expected to quietly work on their own. 

Thank you to everyone who has helped to make Homecoming Week exciting and fun. Here are some updates on competition results… The floats in the parade were fantastic! Coming in third place was the Class of 2022, second place- the FFA, and first place was the Class of 2021. For Hill Painting- third place was the Class of 2020, second place was the Class of 2023, and first place was the Class of 2022. For the banner competition- In third place, the Class of 2023, in second place, the Class of 2020, and in first place, the Class of 2021. 

The overall totals show a tight race for the spirit stick. Currently the Class of 2021 has the lead by a narrow margin over the Class of 2022, and right behind them is the Class of 2020. Be ready for a spirited Pep Rally tomorrow morning. 

Reminder, all students should report directly to PREP Friday morning. Students will be dismissed from PREP to the gymnasium to attend the Pep Rally.
