Rho Kappa and the Mock Trial Team are collecting personal hygiene donations for Children of Incarcerated Parents. Please look for flyers throughout the school that have a list of suggested items to donate. Donation boxes are located in the front office, Student Services, Mrs. Hendi’s room, and Mrs. Peterson’s room. We will be accepting donations through December 13th.

Are you interested in the entertainment industry? On Thursday, November 21 during PREP Come learn the secrets of “The Biz” from Jeffery Keilholtz of Phenomenology, an organization that connects different areas of the entertainment industry! Connect, grow, and sow your time and your talents! Sign-up for the lecture series in the cafeteria with Ms. Lee or in A208! 

Juniors and Seniors, Frederick Community College will be speaking with students during PREP on Thursday, November 21. If you have questions for FCC about your enrollment or would like to learn more about their college please sign up in Student Services or Naviance. 

Are you a junior thinking about a career as a doctor or scientific researcher? If so, the United States Army Medical Research Institute of infectious Diseases at Ft. Detrick is now accepting applicants for challenging internships that will begin this summer. Interns gain hands-on biomedical research experience in areas such as virology, immunology, genomics, and others. For details, see Mr. Brown or Ms. Radil-Harris in C101. 

The Linganore Performing Arts department is setting their sights on the spring musical. Interviews for student director, student choreographer, and student stage manager will be held afterschool in A217 on Monday, November 25th. Audition packets for all interested students are posted outside D101. Please stop by to sign your name on the audition sheet, and grab a packet for preparation. Auditions will be held afterschool on December 2nd, 4th, and 6th. See Mrs. Smithhisler for more details. 

Any student interested in the NYC drama field trip must send in their forms and deposit to Mrs. Smithhisler by Friday, November 22nd or a spot will not be guaranteed on the trip.
