Holsinger earns first in pole vault at county meet

 On Saturday, January 20th the indoor track team competed at  the counties meet. The team did great overall. The girls had some first places as did the boys.  Carter Holsinger who was county champion for men’s pole vault.

“The hard work I put into this sport finally paid off, It was such an amazing feeling to achieve such a new level of competition,” said Holsinger.

Sprinters

9th place, Ani Boghossian-James- 7.73 for 55m dash

17th place, Adam Liston- 41.64 300m dash

Mid-Distance

8th place, Khelsa Connolly- 3.29 for 500m dash

3rd place, Lars Eklund- 1:09.84 for 500m dash

Distance

10th place, Rachel Hall- 6.21 for the mile

1st place, Michael Belmaggio- 9:53.30 for the two mile

Pole Vault

1st place, Carter Holsinger- 13-05.00

High jump

2nd place, Colby Bannon- 5-10.00

Shot-Put

11th place, Hudson Smith- 34-06.00
