Class of 2017: NHS seniors put on one more show with 19 days left

The LHS chapter of the National Honor Society held their annual Talent Show on April 12th.

There were 13 different talent acts ranging from singing to dancing.

The winners of the talent show are as follows:

First place, lyrical dance, Hannah Jarosinski.

Second place. singer, Inés Garofolo. 

Third place, singer duo, Paige Marley and Jackson Chamberlin.

The six senior officers are President Brenda McCann, Vice President Kate Cameron, Treasurer Jac Medve, Secretary Grace Weaver, Service Coordinators Erika Kosar and Caroline Ward.

Olivia Deyaert plans on attending Cedarville University. She will miss her friends and especially the Linganore community. Her advice to the underclassmen is “Integrity in not painless and the world lacks kindness and truth. Even a small act can go a long way.”

Megan Wilhelm plans to attend Brigham Young University. She will miss the art department because they have helped her find who she is and what she loves, photography.

Vanessa Warren plans to attend Frederick Community College. She going to miss her friends and the connections she has made over the past four years.

Sophia Heitzig plans to attend University of Maryland. She is going to miss going to all the football games with her friends. She is also going miss playing basketball with her team.
